Bolt Load Calculation Software

Hydratight introduces Informate : the next generation of software that  provides bolt loads and tool pressures on a huge range of flanged joints and clamped connections. Informate’s bolt load values are independently verified to ensure leak-free joints, every time.

Designed with a new extension database and a range of innovative features, Informate can be used in virtually any situation. from process piping to custom-designed flange connections. Use it to calculate bolt loads and stresses; determine tooling pressures for Hydratight torque and tensioning equipment; analyse existing connections or test custom designed connections.

  • ANSI B16.5, ANSI B16.47 (Series A and Series B), API 6A, API 17D, NORSOK L005 Standards

Engineered Joint Calculation Features :

  • 4 different joint configurations
  • Access to all bolt, flange and gasket materials
  • Access to all common thread forms and sizes (imperial and metric)

Joint Matrix :

  • Retain a record of your last 100 calculations
  • Export individual or batches of calculation to ICE files for record keeping or sharing between users

Toolbox :

  • Standalone useful calculations including:
  • Bolt load based on a torque value
  • Bolt load based on a tool pressure
  • Thread stripping calculation
